Terms & Conditions – PhD Application Services 1. Scope of Services Services include application strategy, GRE planning guidance, program targeting, Statement of Purpose (SOP) development, CV refinement, research interest statement drafting, teaching philosophy (if required), faculty outreach guidance, interview preparation, and final application review. The exact services provided depend on the package selected (Hourly, Standard, or Unlimited). Support is limited to admissions-related advising; coaching does not include ghostwriting of essays, completion of online applications, or direct communication with schools or faculty on the client’s behalf. 2. Client Responsibilities The client agrees to provide accurate and timely information, including transcripts, test scores, CVs, and drafts of application materials. The client is responsible for registering for and completing any required tests (e.g., GRE/TOEFL/IELTS), submitting applications, and paying all associated fees to universities. The client is responsible for all final decisions regarding school selection, application content, and submission. 3. Meetings & Communication Sessions are conducted via Zoom (or an agreed-upon platform). Packages include a defined number of sessions and editing rounds; the Unlimited package includes unlimited sessions and edits within the 2025–2026 application cycle. Email communication for clarifications, quick questions, and draft exchanges is included. Longer strategic discussions are reserved for scheduled sessions. 4. Editing Policy Consultant provides detailed feedback, structural recommendations, and line edits on all written materials. Consultant will not write original content on behalf of the client. All work must reflect the client’s authentic voice, background, and experiences. For packages with limited editing rounds, unused edits do not roll over beyond the agreed scope. 5. Payment Terms Payment is due in full prior to the start of services, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Payments are made securely via the Leland platform (or an alternate method agreed by both parties). All fees are non-refundable. 6. Timelines & Scheduling The client is expected to schedule sessions in advance and respect agreed timelines. Last-minute requests (less than 48 hours before a deadline) are not guaranteed to be accommodated. Consultant will make best efforts to provide edits within 3–5 business days of receiving drafts. 7. Confidentiality All client information, including academic records, personal data, and application materials, will be kept strictly confidential and used solely for the purpose of application advising. 8. Limitations & Disclaimer Consultant cannot guarantee admission to any program, scholarship, or funding opportunity. Admissions decisions rest solely with universities and their committees. Consultant’s role is advisory; ultimate responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, and timely submission of applications lies with the client. 9. Termination of Services Either party may terminate the engagement with written notice. In the event of termination, no refunds will be issued for services already commenced or completed. 10. Governing Law This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, USA.
