Coaching delivered via live sessions and .

My coaching style is both strategic and student-centered. I work with families to demystify the college admissions process early, helping 9th and 10th grade students clarify their interests, build confidence, and take purposeful steps toward a future that excites them. Using a strengths-based approach rooted in positive psychology, I help students identify what makes them unique and guide them in shaping a high school journey that is both authentic and aligned with what top colleges value. Each engagement includes a mix of planning, exploration, and mentorship. I provide clear frameworks, thoughtful questions, and concrete deliverables (from 4-year plans to activity lists to personal brand narratives). But I also serve as a sounding board—someone students and families can trust to help make informed decisions along the way. What sets my coaching apart is my combination of elite admissions expertise (as a former Harvard admissions officer) and my commitment to student empowerment. I believe early high school isn’t just about “getting ahead”—it’s about growing into your potential with clarity and purpose.

* Sessions are held on weekdays only; no weekend or holiday availability. * All sessions must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance and are subject to availability. * Reschedules require 24 hours’ notice to avoid losing the session. * I respond to messages within 1–2 business days. * Sessions are student-focused and designed for coaching and planning—not tutoring or crisis support. * Each session must be used within 6 months (for 5-session packages) or 12 months (for 10- or 20-session packages), unless otherwise agreed. * Packages are non-transferable and non-refundable once work has begun. * Students should come prepared to engage actively—coaching is most effective when students participate fully. * Assignments or prep work (like reflection prompts, activity research, etc.) may be given between sessions. * Families are welcome to attend select sessions, but student ownership is key.

Elite College Admissions Expert | 100+ Students Coached

As a former Harvard College Admissions Officer, I reviewed over 5,500 college applications and sat on the admissions committee for the entering class across 4 years of incoming classes. In addition to working in college access nonprofits, and working in graduate admissions recruitment across various universities throughout my career, I have also advised hundreds of students in pro-bono, 1-1 consulting and group settings, helping a college prep company build their college prep curriculum, providing coaching webinars and individual guidance on everything from major selection, application strategy, extracurricular planning, independent projects / research planning, summer planning, smart approaches to standardized testing (though not test prep), college selection, college essay development, application strategy, and beyond. My goal? To enable an authentic growth experience along the journey of finding a challenging and college fit. While I'm always supportive and able to provide guidance on elite college admissions, we'll focus on making the journey itself fulfilling, capitalizing on the amazing opportunity the college admissions process offers you to get to know yourself better. My students have been admitted to schools ranging from the Ivy League, to New Ivies, and flagship public universities (with max scholarships) in majors as diverse as German studies and sociology to computer science, BS/MD, nursing, Aeorspace engineering, and beyond.
