Raising a search fund is often the most challenging—and decisive—step in the ETA journey. This package is designed to provide end-to-end support throughout the fundraising process, leveraging my own experience raising an oversubscribed fund (+200% in 3 months) with investors across the US, and globally. ▶️Fundraising Strategy Design Develop a tailored capital-raising strategy that fits your background, geography, and investor positioning. Includes advice on fund structure (traditional, self-funded, accelerator-backed) and sequencing of outreach. ▶️Investor Materials Development Hands-on support in drafting, reviewing, and refining your PPM, investor deck, and presentations, ensuring they are professional, persuasive, and aligned with LP expectations. ▶️Target Investor Mapping Guidance on which investors to approach (by type, geography, and relevance), including insights on how to position yourself differently with family offices, institutions, and individual backers. I will provide intros whenever possible. ▶️Pitch Coaching & Presentation Skills Live preparation for investor meetings: practice pitching, handling Q&A, and addressing tough concerns with confidence and clarity. ▶️Process & Tracking Best practices for running a structured, efficient outreach process—including tracking investor conversations, managing timelines, and keeping momentum through the fundraising cycle. ▶️Negotiation & Closing Support Advice on how to structure your final cap table, as we should be in a position to decide which investors we want. I will be your thought partner through the final stages of negotiation and fundraising. ▶️Ongoing Advisory Access Regular check-ins and on-demand support throughout the fundraising journey. I’ll be available as a sounding board as new questions and challenges arise. 🔄Aligned Incentives Engagement is structured on a 60/40 basis: 60% of the fee is paid upfront, while the remaining 40% is "success based" only due if you successfully get 100% of committed capital in less than 6 months. This ensures our incentives are fully aligned and that I am in your corner. Raising a search fund is hard, but it’s absolutely achievable with the right preparation, materials, and process. I’ve been through it myself — oversubscribed in just three months — and I know what works. My commitment is simple: if you engage fully, I’ll be in your corner at every step until you get there. The goal is clear: to help you achieve 100% committed capital in less than six months.

I bring both personal and academic experience to coaching in the Search Fund and ETA space. I founded and raised a traditional search fund outside the US, securing commitments from investors across America, Spain, and the rest of the world. My MBA at Kellogg gave me deep exposure to the US ETA ecosystem—through coursework, the Zell Fellows program, and peer collaboration—so I understand both US and international dynamics.
